The Opportunity
The Farm is developing a dedicated Agricultural Demonstration Plot Platform designed to bring agricultural products, technologies, and production practices directly to farmers in the Mpongwe farming community.
The site spans 17 hectares and is located along the Chipese Stream in Mpongwe Central.
Approximately 550 metres of the farm’s frontage runs along the main Mpongwe Road, offering excellent visibility and easy access.
The demonstration area will consist of three rows of plots:
Row 3 – Advanced/Comparative Demonstration Row:
Larger or comparative trials showcasing different technologies, varieties or production systems.
Row 2 – Production Demonstration Row:
Practical crop and input demonstrations behind the roadside row.
Row 1 – Roadside Demonstration Row:
High-visibility plots directly along the main road.
The platform provides companies with an opportunity to demonstrate products under real local farming conditions, interact with farmers, collect field observations and build product awareness.
