About the Expo


The Mpongwe Agricultural Expo 2026 is a three-day agricultural event designed primarily for farmers in Mpongwe District. The Expo provides a practical platform where farmers can access knowledge, technologies, agricultural inputs, irrigation solutions, markets, financial services, and expert advice to improve productivity and build resilient farming enterprises.

Under the theme "Advancing Climate-Smart Agriculture and Irrigation Innovation for Food Security," the Expo will focus on practical solutions that enable farmers to respond to changing weather patterns, improve water management, increase crop production, and strengthen food security.

Hosted at MAFAFA (Mashinkila Farm), Mpongwe Central, the Expo will bring together farmers, agricultural experts, agribusinesses, input suppliers, irrigation specialists, financial institutions, government agencies, development partners, and other stakeholders to share knowledge, demonstrate innovations, and build partnerships that support the growth of agriculture in Mpongwe District.

Through agricultural exhibitions, field demonstrations, expert presentations, farmer discussions, networking, and practical learning opportunities, the Expo aims to empower farmers with the tools and knowledge needed to make agriculture more productive, profitable, sustainable, and resilient.
